Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 4, 2026

This is the Privacy Policy for the Dunzy website and waitlist at https://dunzy.app.

1. Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation. Words with an initial capital letter have the meanings given in this Section. Each definition applies whether the term is used in the singular or the plural.

Definitions. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

  • "Company" (also "We", "Us", or "Our") means Dunzy, operated by Opus Ordo LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company.
  • "Personal Data" means any information that identifies, or can reasonably be linked to, a particular individual.
  • "Service" means the Dunzy website and waitlist located at https://dunzy.app. The Service does not include the Dunzy application, which is not yet available.
  • "Service Provider" means a company that processes information on Our behalf and under Our instructions in order to provide part of the Service.
  • "Usage Data" means information collected automatically through use of the Service, such as which pages are viewed.
  • "You" (also "Your") means the individual who uses the Service.

2. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how We collect, use, and disclose Personal Data in connection with the Service. It applies only to the Service and does not apply to the Dunzy application, which is not yet available and will be covered by its own privacy policy at release.

Any privacy or security features described on the Service in connection with the Dunzy application describe Our intended design goals and are not guarantees. Features such as local AI processing, end-to-end encryption of task data, and privacy-first sync are goals for the application; they are not operative features of this website or waitlist. The application's privacy practices will be governed by a separate privacy policy published at the time of release.

Because We must be able to send You email, Your waitlist email address is stored in readable form and is not end-to-end encrypted. End-to-end encryption applies to task data inside the Dunzy application only; it does not apply to Your waitlist email address.

3. Personal Data We Collect

Information You provide. When You join the waitlist, We collect the email address You submit. We do not request or require any other Personal Data.

Usage Data. We collect aggregate, non-identifying Usage Data through a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics tool. This includes information such as pages viewed, referring sites, device and browser type, and general location derived from Your IP address, which the tool does not store. It does not include Your name, email address, or any identifier that follows You across other websites. Our hosting provider also records standard server logs, which may include Your IP address and browser type, in order to deliver and secure the Service.

Cookies. We do not use cookies to advertise to You, track You, or build a profile of You. Our analytics are cookieless. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies required to deliver and secure the Service.

4. How We Use Personal Data

We use Personal Data only to:

  • contact You about early access, the launch of the Dunzy application, and related product news You have asked to receive;
  • manage Your request to join or leave the waitlist;
  • operate, maintain, and secure the Service; and
  • comply with applicable legal obligations.

All emails We send comply with the CAN-SPAM Act, including a clear unsubscribe mechanism and Our mailing address in every message. We will not use Your email address to send third-party promotions or share it with advertisers.

5. Service Providers

We do not sell Your Personal Data, do not share it for advertising, and do not disclose it to any third party for that third party's own purposes.

We use a small number of third-party Service Providers to operate the Service. Each processes information only on Our behalf, under Our instructions, and only as needed to perform its function:

  • an email provider stores the waitlist and sends Our emails; providing Your email address to it is necessary to deliver the emails You signed up for;
  • a hosting provider serves and secures the Service and processes standard technical logs, such as IP addresses; and
  • an analytics provider supplies the cookieless, aggregate analytics described in Section 3 and receives only anonymous usage data, with no email address, no payment information, no stored IP addresses, and no cross-site tracking.

We may also disclose Personal Data where required by law or valid legal process, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case We will provide notice before Your Personal Data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

6. International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States, and Our Service Providers may process and store information in the United States. If You access the Service from outside the United States, Your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States.

7. Data Retention

We retain the email address You provide until You ask Us to remove it, or up to 90 days after the Dunzy application launches, whichever occurs first. When the application launches, We will contact waitlist members with an opportunity to create an account. If You do not create an account or otherwise respond within 90 days of that notice, We will delete Your email address from the waitlist. We retain other information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy and to comply with Our legal obligations.

8. Data Security

We follow a data-minimization principle: the Service collects only Your email address and aggregate, non-identifying analytics. Your email address is transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and stored by Our email Service Provider, with access limited to what is necessary to operate the waitlist. No online service can promise perfect security, which is precisely why We collect as little as possible.

In the event of a data breach affecting Your Personal Data, We will notify You in accordance with applicable law, including the New Mexico Data Breach Notification Act (N.M. Stat. ยงยง 57-12C-1 to 57-12C-12) where required.

9. Your Privacy Rights

You may unsubscribe from Our emails at any time using the link in each email. You may also ask Us to access, correct, or delete the Personal Data We hold about You by contacting privacy@dunzy.app. We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 days.

Depending on where You live, You may have additional rights under applicable state law, including the right to know what Personal Data We collect, to request its correction or deletion, and to opt out of certain uses of it. California residents have specific rights under the CCPA/CPRA as described below. To exercise any privacy rights, contact privacy@dunzy.app.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA). If You are a California resident, You have the right to know what Personal Data We collect and how We use it, to request its deletion or correction, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of Personal Data. We do not sell or share Personal Data. We will not discriminate against You for exercising these rights. To make a request, contact privacy@dunzy.app.

10. "Do Not Track" Signals

We do not track You across third-party websites and do not respond differently to Do Not Track ("DNT") browser signals, because We perform no cross-site tracking.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children or to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from anyone under 18. If You believe someone under 18 has provided Us with Personal Data, contact privacy@dunzy.app and We will delete it promptly.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. For material changes, We will notify waitlist members by email before the changes take effect.
